The laboratory, oriented towards the country's major needs and international academic forward position, devoted to solve the bottlenecks problem that conditions China's process industry sustainable development of energy, resources and environmental, builds a cross research platform between chemical engineering and materials disciplines.

National Engineering Research Center For Special Separation Membrane was founded in Dec, 2011, approved by Ministry of Science and Technology.The center, relying on the advantages of resources, oriented towards the national needs of energy-saving and emission-reduction and the efficient separation of progress industry, establishes the domestic first-class, the international advanced special membrane materials and engineering innovation platform.
